I never know jumping queue is a serious traffic offense until I got a summon last week on my way to work.
"How much I need to pay for this summon?" asking the police who was issuing the summon.
"RM300!" suddenly my heart was so painful.
I decided to find out any way that can minimize my compound without paying that much..like waiting for merdeka discount?! No! I have to pay within 3 months of issuance, I can't wait for that long.
I'm browsing around the internet to look for any discount for summons. Finally, I found that government is offering 30% and 50% discount for traffic offenders who pay their summons online. What a good news!
For offenses such as parking and captured by automated devices are eligible for a 30% discount.
Summons that issued directly to the offender like me are eligible for 50% discount if you pay within the compound date or 30% discount after the compound date.
P/S- discount are not applicable for summons that issued during ops sikap, traffic light offense, accident cases and have warrant of arrest.
For my case, I'm still eligible for 50% discount if I'm paying within 3 months time.
Although the government has agreed to maintain the maximum rate RM300 for exceeding the speed limit, queue jumping, beating red light, abusing the emergency lane and overtaking at double lines, always check your summons on www.myeg.com.my to see if you can get any discount.
Good luck and I will be more careful in the future.
Putrajaya Night View

Last weekend, we went to Putrajaya for photo shooting to test the features of my "new toy" Lumix FS15. I'm glad that finally we have had our own camera after a long period of consideration.
Why Lumix?
Because it attracted us with its well known Leica lenses, the simple and user friendly (iA) Intelligent Auto mode which I do not have to do any settings and the camera will do it all for me.
As I'm not a professional photographer, iA mode is good enough for me.
What else?
I like the 29mm wide angle because it can capture large group of people even from short distances.
The camera itself comes with an 12mp CCD, 5 x optical zoom, 2.7 inch LCD (clear and large), face detection, digital red eye correction and AF tracking. Those are the features we are looking for and most importantly the price is not expensive.
Below are some shots of Putrajaya for sharing.

Life isn't about how to survive the storm, but how to dance in the rain!

I hope to share this with someone I care about.

It was a busy morning, about 8:30, when an elderly gentleman in his 80s arrived to have stitches removed from his thumb.
He said he was in a hurry, as he had an appointment at 9:00 am.
I took his vital signs and had him take a seat, knowing it would be over an hour before someone would be able to see him.
I saw him looking at his watch, and decided, since I was not busy with another patient, I would evaluate his wound.
On exam, it was well healed, so I talked to one of the doctors, got the needed supplies to remove his sutures and redress his wound.
While taking care of his wound, I asked him if he had another doctor's appointment this morning, as he was in such a hurry.
The gentleman told me no, that he needed to go to the nursing home to eat breakfast with his wife.
I inquired as to her health; he told me that she had been there for a while and that she was a victim of Alzheimer's Disease.
As we talked, I asked if she would be upset if he was a bit late.
He replied that she no longer knew who he was, that she had not recognized him in five years now.
I was surprised, and asked him, 'And you still go every morning, even though she doesn't know who you are'?
He smiled as he patted my hand and said, ''She doesn't know me, but I still know who she is.'
I had to hold back tears as he left. I had goose bumps on my arms and thought, 'That is the kind of love I want in my life'.
True love is neither physical nor romantic. True love is acceptance of all that is, has been, will be, and will not be.
The happiest people don't necessarily have the best of everything; they just make the best of everything they have.

I would like to give special thanks to Kelvin for the big dinner at Jogoya a couple of week ago.
We really enjoy the dinner very much and what a pity is at that time I was busy looking for the food until forgot to take some nice food pictures to share over here. hmm...regretful!
After this will be whose turn?
Before the next meal I've to take more exercises to lose some weight, and hope you all will do the same. Cheers!!

Yummy Thai Food

Miang (tasty leaf-wrapped tidbits) is a traditional Thai dish. I will never forget the taste when chewing all the ingredients together. It's delicious.
Tawandang German Brewery - Housed in a giant barrel, this popular and lively beer hall brews excellent German style beer. It is a great dining place serving the best beer, best food, best entertainment and even best service in the washroom as I was surrounded by few cleaners inside.

Royal Dragon Restaurant is a seafood restaurant and it is recorded as the largest restaurant in the world. They are serving customers with the unique style such as serving by walking on water and flying on the sky that I have never experienced before. There are also Thai cultural shows performing on the stage while we are enjoying our food.
